AMBERNATH CYCLIST GROUP LAUNCHES EXCLUSIVE CYCLING T-SHIRT

Sunday, January 5th 2020 was a treat for all cyclists of Ambernath & its neighboring towns (Badlapur, Ulhasnagar, Kalyan). Captain Heeru Ahuja (Founder Member of Ambernath Cyclist Group) along with Co Founder Mr Sagar Menon organized an event at Shiv Ganga Nagar, Ambernath East to introduce to their own Cycling T-Shirt for all cyclists of Ambernath. The main aim was to announce about Ambernath Cyclist Group & its achievements and most importantly encourage more and more citizens of Ambernath to get into cycling. Ambernath Citizens from Nisarg Greens raise voice again against pollution. Call up cops & MPCB officials.

Ambernath citizens had just recently protested on Diwali day against various civic issues, mainly against pollution. Yesterday evening (Sunday, November 11th 2018); ACF members along with Nisarg Greens residents had planned a brief meeting with a senior lawyer for legal suggestions & options with respect to ongoing issue of pollution. In midst of the meeting suddenly, everyone started feeling uncomfortable due to smoke & bad smell due to gases released by nearby chemical factories from Morivili MIDC. Nisarg Greens residents said that they are fed up with this pollution issue which is causing discomfort everyday. A senior citizen sitting nearby, said he has invested his entire life long savings post retirement in taking a home at Ambernath here at Nisarg Greens and is feeling worried due to this ongoing pollution everyday. Ambernath citizens spend their DIWALI in protesting against their never ending issues of their city

While the whole country celebrated diwali with their family & friends yesterday, citizens from Ambernath (Maharashtra) chose to come out on streets and raise their voices against the never ending issues of their city. Citizens seen protesting near Ambernath station road, b cabin road (east). Citizens are fed up with issues of bad roads, polluted air due to smoke from chemical factories & dumping ground, polluted water, arrogance of auto rickshaw drivers, traffic issues etc. So today, on eve of Deepavali; Citizens instead of celebrating festival took to the streets and protested mainly against Ambernath Municipal Council (AMC) & Maharastra Pollution Control Board (MPCB). Ambernath morivali fire incident (05.11.2018)

Dear Friends, Today's fire incident at Ambernath west morivali midc area highlights how much unprepared our systems are. Firstly, so many chemical and industrial units have cropped up side by side. We do not know how many of them are legal and how many of them are illegal. Are all safety norms etc being followed. Does Ambernath municipal council really check thoroughly whether all rules and regulations are being followed ? The fire broke out around 2 pm I guess. But people in the evening around 5 pm were still saying on whatsapp that the fire is still being seen. It was not fully extinguished. This proves that we do not have fully prepared system to tackle such sudden incidents. News reports in online media said 4 persons are injured. Senior Inspector K V Chavan confirmed there were total 13 workers and they all started running when fire started. 4 got injured and were taken to nearby hospital and are out of danger.
