AMBERNATH CYCLIST GROUP LAUNCHES EXCLUSIVE CYCLING T-SHIRT
Sunday, January 5th 2020 was a
treat for all cyclists of Ambernath & its neighboring towns (Badlapur,
Ulhasnagar, Kalyan). Captain Heeru Ahuja (Founder Member of Ambernath Cyclist
Group) along with Co Founder Mr Sagar Menon organized an event at Shiv Ganga
Nagar, Ambernath East to introduce to their own Cycling T-Shirt for all
cyclists of Ambernath. The main aim was to announce about Ambernath Cyclist
Group & its achievements and most importantly encourage more and more
citizens of Ambernath to get into cycling.
Encouraging words from Dr Jadhav, who said 5 years back it was just couple of cyclists & today its more than 13000 cyclists from this part of the town. He wished good luck to Captain Ahuja by saying Ïf its your passion, just follow it and also by saying more rides to add & more miles to be added in times to come.
One of the highlights was speech by Advocate C K Sable who is an active cyclist of their group at the young age of 60 years !!
He shared his cycling experience which was an inspiration to many of us. Guests were in awe when they heard he did cycling trip to long distance like Nasik, Goa !!

Ambernath Citizens Forum member Tanmoy Adak had a brief
chat with Captain Heeru Ahuja who mentioned that the #AmbernathCyclist group is
a growing group currently and they are looking forward to citizens from
Ambernath & neighbouring towns to join the group. The main objective of the
group is to encourage more and more citizens to get into cycling for 2 major
reasons. One is to ensure citizens live a healthy routine and secondly help
environment around us by reducing pollution.
ACF completely agrees with thoughts of Captain Heeru
Ahuja and would like to persuade with his thoughts and appeal to ach &
every member of Citizens Forum (ACF, BCF, UCF, KCF) to give a thought and
invest in a cycle which will help
improving one's health and also help environment around us. We'd like to
work towards a Healthy Ambernath & a Green Ambernath.
To take this forward, Ambernath Citizens Forum has announced a cycling event in Ambernath East on Sunday, February 9th 2020. The main aim is to have more and more #AmbernathCyclist to be seen on our streets. ACF is already in talks with Captain Heeru Ahuja & others for this event.
